Most AI is built to be an obedient assistant. Our Folks are built to be someone too.
A Folk is a character with a personality, a history, a mind of its own, an opinion it will not drop because you said so, stories to tell, and its own way of helping.
Ask an assistant a question and you get an answer. Ask a Folk and you get more.
